Monaco & Alameda are an indy-folk band whose old style Americana-Folk songs are filled with evocative harmonies and curious story telling. Inspired by the American songwriting greats, Peter Sheridan and Erika Sheridan blend their opposite backgrounds of Ireland's countryside and Denver/NYC create a sound and energy that is something special and peculiar. The new addition to the band, Charlie Akers on guitar, offers a flavorful sound that creates a full sound and richness. Their first EP "Overtake" launched in January of 2015, and completed their 2nd EP "Well and Alive" in November 2015. The group is currently working on a third EP and embarking on a tour in the US July of 2019.
